  2. Get 1.5 cups Moong dal
  3. You need 1 tsp Urad dal
  4. Use 1 tsp Cumin seeds

  6. Provide 3 Red chillies
  7. Provide 1 tbsp Coconut
  8. Use 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds

Instructions to make Cabbage Kootu and long beans curry :

  1. Cook mung dal and cabbage for 3 whistles and keep it aside
  2. In a pan add oil add urad dal,cumin seeds,pepper corns and red chillies until golden brown. Add coconut and grind it into a coarse powder
  3. In a pan add oil,when it is hot add mustard seeds. When it splutter add curry leaves and cooked cabbage moong dal mixture. Add turmeric powder,red chilli powder and salt. Cook on a medium flame add the grounded powder and Hing. Let it boil fr few minutes. Coconut oil will give flavour to the kootu
